Seattle Sun Tan (SST) is a beauty salon brand located in Washington State, focusing on tanning and a wide variety of innovative Light Therapy services focused on cosmetic improvement. While at SST, I work on all types of media and campaigns, some examples being in store collateral and signage to snapchat ads and email designs. When I started at SST, the brand aesthetic was more centered around the historical tanning industry look, with overly brushed models in hyper sexual outfits and poses, I strove to modernize, update, and make the brand aesthetic more consumer friendly to appeal to new clients, while not alienating the existing customer base that was used to the previous aesthetic. The brand voice of SST is higher end spa meets cosmetic branding. SST and Desert Sun Tanning are owned by the same company, be sure to look at the work I did for them.
