Adventure Awaits

Desert Sun Tanning (DST) is a beauty salon brand located in Washington State, focusing on tanning with some innovative Light Therapy services. While at DST, I work on all types of media and campaigns, some examples being in store collateral and signage to snapchat ads and email designs. When I started at DST, the brand aesthetic was more centered around the historical tanning industry look, with overly brushed models in hyper sexual outfits and poses, I strove to modernize, update, and make the brand aesthetic more consumer friendly to appeal to new clients, while not alienating the existing customer base that was used to the previous aesthetic. The brand voice of DST is more outdoors focused, with the idea that customers utilize the services at DST before doing something, whether that is a party or an outdoors adventure. DST and Seattle Sun Tanning are owned by the same company, be sure to look at the work I did for them.
